Answer:

1011.05

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's use 3 as an example.

The angle of depression is the one directly under the ballon.

You also know that the 53 degree angle is part of a 90 degree angle.

so the angle inside the triangle directly under the balloon is 37 degrees.

You know the angle and you know the side from the balloon to the ground is 1680.  This is the hypotenuse of the triangle.

So which trig function could you use to determine how high the balloon is from the ground?

SOH CAH TOA

cos 37 = a/1680

a = 1341.71

Where do percentages and negative numbers under the readucal fall in the subsets of real numbers
nata0808 [166]
Ok so here it is
natural numbers: counting numbers like 1,2,3,4,5...
whole numbers: counting numbesr and 0, so 0,1,2,3,4
integers: negative counting numbers and 0, so -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3...
ratioal numbers, things that can be represented in a/b

percent means parts out of 100 so
x%=x/100
that is a ratioal number

negatives are integers

hexagon is equal to the area of an equilateral triangle whose perimeter is 36 inches. Find the length of a side of the regular h
Vikentia [17]
Perimter\ of\ equilateral\ triangle\ =36\\ a- \ side\ of\ triangle\\ 36=3a\ |:3\\ a=12\\\\ Area\ of\ equilateral\ triangle:\\ A=\frac{a^2\sqrt{3}}{4}\\ A=\frac{12^2\sqrt{3}}{4}\\ A=\frac{144\sqrt{3}}{4}=36\sqrt3 \\\\ Hegagon\ can\ be\ divided\ into\ 6\ equilateral\ small\ triangles.\\Area\ of\ one\ of\ them: A_s=\frac{A}{6}=\frac{36\sqrt3}{6}=6\sqrt{3}\\ s-side\ of\ equilateral\ =\ side\ of\ small\ triangle\\ A_s=\frac{s^2\sqrt{3}}{4}=6\sqrt{3}\ |*4 \\ s^2\sqrt3=24\sqrt3\ |\sqrt3\\ s^2=24\\ s=\sqrt{24}\sqrt{24}=\sqrt{4*6}=2\sqrt6\\\\&#10;Side\ of\ hexagon\ equals\ 2\sqrt6\ inches

How many soulutions doses the system formed by x-y=3 and ax+3a=0 have for a nonzero number a
Aloiza [94]
We have that
<span>x-y=3 -------> equation 1
and
ax+3a=0------> equation 2

we know that
</span>
ax+3a=0-------> a*(x+3)=0
a=0    and (x+3)=0
if a is a nonzero number
then
only
x+3=0------> x=-3

substitute the value of x=-3 in the equation 1
x-y=3------> (-3)-y=3-----> y=-6

the system has one solution-------> the point (-3,-6)
