Answer:

similes they use like or as to compare something but metaphors compare things but don't use like or as

Answer: a good way to tell the difference between the two is a simile will always use the words “like” or “as”

Example: her cheeks were *like* roses

This is saying that she was blushing and her cheeks were red from it

A metaphor with use neither of those and would imply or say that they were exactly that it uses neither like or as

Example: her cheeks were roses

This is still saying that she was blushing and she was red on the cheeks but in stead of comparing to roses they are roses

Write a poem about accent and dialect, HOMEWORK WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST
KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

The Forrest of life

Among the trees I walk and aspire,

light and shade mingled to my hearts desire.

This earthy force and hidden charm,

sensing enclosure in that musky arm.

Natures cathedral hold in pace,

mystical altar in the mist of grace.

For all of you in that light of sphere,

sensing my acquaintance there.

In this oasis of living breathe as treasure,

mental fountain overflows in receptive pleasure.

Distinguished fragile habitation as throne,

knowing that your spirit never leaves us alone.

We are the part of your purer fire,

intimate consent to inquire.

Then the love which does us binds,

is between the stars, the forest and the minds.

Memories of ancient souls,

still touching you in clouds.

Underneath your shade, many days remote,

lovers and poets sat and wrote.

Sounds of crisp dialect by wind like beach,

gifts of mysterious breath no one can teach. this isnt mine but its an idea kinda Copyright © Robert Rittel | Year Posted 2019

Read the passage. Text version. "Day of Infamy" Speech by Franklin Delano Roosevelt Following Japan's attack of the United State
vodomira [7]

The correct answer is B) To emphasize the emotional impact of this tragic loss of life.

This pause is commonly used by high commanders to express their condolescenses in a respectful and brief way. In society, it is oftentimes known as 'a moment of silence' that represents silent contemplation, reflection and is mainly a gesture of respect, particularly in mourning for those who have died recently.
