If I'm answering this right, the bus should have travel 36 miles in 60 minutes.

If it takes 20 minutes to get to 12 miles then for every twenty minutes you would just add 12 miles.

when we divide a fraction, we flip the denomonator and numerator and then multiply by the fraction. So flipped 1/3 become 3.By multiplying 8 by 3 gave the same answer as in the 1st problem.
