Instructions: The following argument argues for spending taxpayer money to colonize the moon. Read the argument and answer the q

uestion that follows: Topic and Question Space Travel: Should our society spend taxpayer money to colonize the moon? Ineffective Argument I love space. It rocks. It is super important to colonize the moon because we will run out of room on earth. My neighbor who grows organic vegetables says that we are ruining the earth’s environment and we will need a new place to live. I totally agree. I think that another reason we should colonize the moon is that it would be cool. Can you imagine living up there and being able to see the earth? Wow. My best friend says that living on the moon would be an awesome experience for anyone. The moon is great! Why is the argument ineffective? In a paragraph of 7–10 complete sentences, explain why the following parts of the argument are ineffective, and how they can be improved: Claim Support Conclusion Clincher Point of View Transitions Submit your review of the argument. Do not write a complete argumentative essay.

Claim- weak and to oppinionated

Support- informal, gramaticly inaccurate, uses words like "cool" and "Totally", uses evidence from an irrelevant source

Conclusion- not really a conclusion. one sentence is not a conclusion and it doesnt sum up the rest of the argument.

pov- is written in first person when it should be written in third person.

Transitions- no transitions

hope it helps

Advices for people for protecting ancestral temples. 5 points
Nady [450]

Answer:

Ancestral temples are natural areas of special spiritual significance to peoples and communities. They include natural areas recognized as sacred by indigenous and traditional peoples, as well as natural areas recognized by institutionalized religions or faiths as places for worship and remembrance. Access to these sites is usually restricted by taboos and management codes to particular activities and members of a community. Many sacred sites have survived for hundreds of years and act as important biodiversity reservoirs. However, their contribution to conservation has been largely overlooked and undervalued by state and conservation agencies, policies and laws. Sacred natural sites are also integral parts of ethnic identity and play a key role in traditional cultures and lifestyles. While community controls once helped protect sacred natural sites, rural peoples are increasingly vulnerable to political and economic pressures outside their control. Without security of tenure and active participation in decisions that affect them, it is impossible for such communities to effectively protect their lands and resources. taking that in mind I would advise to create protection laws with penalties if people dont respect them or start a global protest so the world know about this issue.

Hope I helped :)

Insurance Vs Speculation
Nuetrik [128]

Explanation:

Insurance is concerned with the economic problems created by pure risks. Speculative risks are not insurable. Both speculative risk and pure risk involve the possibility of loss. However, speculative risk also involves the possibility of gain as well - even if there is no loss.

hammer [34]

Answer:

intellectualization

Explanation:

Intellectualization is a copying mechanism during which a person focuses on practical and rational reasoning is used in order to avoid emotional stress. During a reasoning person is blocking emotional stresses and feelings that might hurt.

In the example in the question, we would use the energy to see how rationally to cope with the situation, trying to ignore the pain we feel because of sudden departure, and possible stab, by the friend who left us in the bad situation and without any previous notice.
