No options provided, let me therefore elaborate about the second continental congress.Convention of delegates from the 13 colonies that formed in Philadelphia in May 1775, soon after the launch of the American Revolutionary War. It was held that they colonies should create a continental army to deal with British threat.
<span>They made George Washington General of the Army. On July 8, 1775 they tried again for peace by sending the Olive Branch Petition to the King of Britain.</span>
