Answer:

Multiple Answers

Step-by-step explanation:

  • It is algebraically defined (that is, there is an equation you can use to calculate its value).

The mean is the average of our numbers, it is easy to calculate. The formule we use to calcule the mean is:

mean = \frac{\sum x}{N}

Where N is the number of values we have in our sample.

(We divide the sum of our values by the number of data we have in our sample).

  • It is easily influenced by extreme scores.

If we have extreme scores in our sample our mean could be affected by them. To avoid this we can adjust our sample. We can do this by eliminate the values that are in the extreme of our ordened data (we can just avoid the 10% of the largest data and the 10% of the smallest data in our sample) the mean of the rest of the data we have is the adjusted mean.

I would assume that you would subtract 40 from 60 and get 20. (60-40=20) So I'd say 20 hours.

If f(x) = 1/3x+13, then f^-1(x) =??
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = 1/3x + 13

f^-1(x) = ?

Now

Let y = f(x)

or y = 1/3x + 13

Interchanging the role of x and y

x = 1/3y + 13

x - 13 = 1/3y

y = <u>x </u><u>-</u><u> </u><u>1</u><u>3</u>

3

Therefore f^-1(x) = <u>x </u><u>-</u><u> </u><u>1</u><u>3</u><u> </u>

3

Hope it will help you.

Find angle picture below.
Ugo [173]

Answer:

Angle M = 63

Angle N = 96

Step-by-step explanation:

By exterior angle of triangle:

Angle M + Angle N = 159

(4y+3)+(6y+6)=159

y = 15

Angle M = 4y + 3 = 4(15) + 3 = 63

Angle N = 6y + 6 = 6(15) + 6 = 96

What are the domain and range of the function on the graph
Alex Ar [27]
<span>To find the domain, solve the inequality 4 - x > 0. x < 4. Thus, all numbers less than or equal to 4 represent thedomain for this function. When trying to find the domain and range from a graph, the domain is found by looking at the graph from left to right.</span>
