Round 1,384 to the nearest thousand and round 2,332 to the nearest hundred

1,384 rounded to the nearest thousand would be 1,000 because when you look at the hundreds place, there is a 3 and the rule is, if it’s under 5 round down but if it’s over 5 (or if it is 5) you round up.
2,332 rounded to the nearest hundred would be 2,300 because once again there was a number less than 5 before it so we rounded down.
I hope this helped! Have a wonderful day! :-)

A carpenter has a wooden that measures 1/4 meter long. He must cut the board into 6 pieces of equal length. How long in meters s
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

1/26 meter

Step-by-step explanation:

You would start by dividing 1/4 by 6. You'd have to multiply 1/4 by the reciprocal of 6 (the reciprocal of 6 would be 1/6). Then you get (1/4) * (1/6), which is equal to 1/24.

Two times the greater of two consecutive integers is 9 less than three times the lesser integer. What are the integers?
blondinia [14]
Let the two integers be x and x + 1, then
2(x + 1) + 9 = 3x
2x + 2 + 9 = 3x
3x - 2x = 11
x = 11

Therefore, the integers are 11 and 12.
