The scale used to measure the intensity of ice storms is called the Sperry–Piltz Ice Accumulation Index, <span>based on the expected footprint of an ice storm, the expected ice accumulation as a result of a storm, and the expected damage a storm inflicts on human-built structures.

Meteorologists use Dual Polarization Radar, and the Q2 a mix of sensors and algorithms to predict precipitation.

Yes ice storms can be predicted by weather agencies, and it depends how fast it is detected and how severe it is.

How to find the formula for the nth term
snow_tiger [21]
“The nth term of the following types of sequences can be found out using the following Formulas:

1.Arithmetic Progression(AP) : here, the consecutive terms differ by a common difference (d).

tn= a+(n-1)d

Where,

a= is the first term of the sequence,

n= nth term

d= common difference

2. Geometric Progression(GP):

Here, the consequtive terms differ by a common ratio (r).

Tn= ar^(n-1)

where,

a = first term

r = common ratio

tn= nth term

3.Harmonic Progression (H.P):

It is the reciprocal of AP.

To find nth term of a HP, first convert it into AP and then apply the tn formula for the sequence and take the reciprocal of the obtained tn again.

Hope the answer helps you!!”

kirza4 [7]
The correct answer would be D.

After many generations, only those with genes suitable to live in harsh environments can live. These genes are passed onto their offspring and then we see a rise in antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria such as Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA).
