Not only is the traffic bad on normal days, but it also becomes much worse during the monsoons and winters. There are no traffic lights working, nor are there any traffic policemen on duty. Moreover, the road is full of potholes that further disrupts and pose a huge threat to the movement of traffic and even the safety of both drivers and the ones walking.
The colony’s welfare association has written to the concerned authorities about the issue but no action has been taken so far. So, I am writing to your newspaper in the hope that the issue catches the attention of the concerned authorities.
