2. The tone of your voice is just as important as the volume. Our children are much more likely to listen to a voice that sounds warm and encouraging than to one that sounds harsh and judgmental

3. The way parents (or other adults) label a child can have a lasting impact on how that child thinks of him or herself. When a child has been labeled, that label will become a part of his or her identity. Labels often do more damage than goodby putting children in boxes.
