These events supposed a point of no return and marked the beginning of War of Independence of the United States.

1700 men returned to Boston in a retreat in which the British did not know how to keep their lines of action secretly or perform actions with speed, and suffered heavy attacks, but most regular British arrived in Boston, where the occupation of different areas around this city marked the beginning of the siege of Boston.
