I would say this is false. Adults should have reasonable expectations for children. They should help them achieve these expectations and be positive when mistakes are made to allow for a positive experience.

Is this a true or false question? Based on the fact that an authoritative parenting style is best (high demands and high warmth) I would say that realistic demands are more likely to help develop positive self esteem
