If a large molecule needs to move against the concentration gradient, what structure will need to be used ?
strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

If a large molecule need to move against the concentration gradient the struc of an energy rich compound such as Adenosine tri phosphate or ATP is need to be used.

Explanation:

ATP provides energy to carry out the uphill transport of molecule across the plasma membrane by the helps of specific ion channel.Uphill transport is a type of membrane transport process in which a molecule is being transported against its concentration gradient that means the molecule is moving from low concentration region to high concentration region.

In general this type of transport is Thermodynamically unfavorable which is made favorable by  the energy derived from the hydrolysis of ATP .

Why is a modified vehicle with its body raised high on risers less stable than a similar vehicle with its body at normal height?
Liono4ka [1.6K]

A modified vehicle with a raised height has its center of gravity of tempered with. When the center of gravity shifts from the original place of an object to another without its overhaul or re-design, it becomes unstable and is more likely to topple over.

Describe how living things use anaerobic respiration to generate energy.
Mrac [35]
Anaerobic respiration is the process by which some organisms produce energy in the absence of oxygen. Instead of oxygen, organic and inorganic molecules are used as electron acceptors. One example of anaerobic respiration is fermentation.
In latic acid fermentation, one molecule of glucose undergoes glycolysis to produce two molecules of pyruvate. The two molecules of pyruvate then undergo fermentation to produce two molecules of lactate. The lactate will be transported to the liver. The lactate can be reconverted to pyruvate and utilized for energy. Latic acid fermentation occurs in the muscles.
