I believe it would cost $10,329.

If you add all the feet together, you will get 939 ft. There are 3 ft in a yard, so you divide 939 ft by 3 to get the number of yards. Which is 313 yd. then you multiply that by 33 since each yard equals $33. And will get 10,329 as a result.

Help with this question ??
salantis [7]

Answer:

15 units per unit

Step-by-step explanation:

From the graph we can easily tell that y increases from 0 to 15 as x increases from 2 to 3.

Thus, the average rate of change of f(x) on the interval [2, 3] is:

    1 15 - 0 15 units

--------- * ----------- = -------------- = 15 units (rise) per unit (run).

3 - 2 1 1

Am trying to find the value of r
1/r + 2/1-r = 4/r^2
Mashcka [7]
1/r + 2/1-r = 4/r^2

1-r+2r/r(1-r)=4/r^2
(1+r)/r(1-r)=4/r^2 cancle r both side

1+r/1-r=4/r

cross multiply
r+r^2=4-4r
r^2+4r+r-4=0
r^2+5r-4=0
r^2+4r+r-4=0
solve it for r factor it...

Jeff was already 7 miles out of town when his sister
Nikolay [14]

The sister catches up Jeff after 2 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

We can write Jeff's position and his sister position at time t using the following expressions:

- Jeff position:

x_j(t) = 7 + 2.5 t

where:

7 is the initial position of Jeff when his sister sarts chasing him

2.5 is Jeff's velocity (in miles/hour), so its position increases by 2.5 miles for each hour

t is the time measured in hours

- Sister position:

x_s(t) = 6t

where

6 is the sister velocity (her position increases by 6 miles for every hour)

t is the time measured in hours

The sister catches up Jeff when the two positions are equal, so

x_j(t) = x_s(t)\\7+2.5t=6t

And solving for t,

7+2.5t-2.5t=6t-2.5t\\7=3.5t\\t=\frac{7}{3.5}=2 h

So, the sister catches Jeff after 2 hours.
