  The American Revolution was an ideological and political revolution which occurred in colonial North America between 1765 and 1783. The American Patriots in the Thirteen Colonies defeated the British in the American Revolutionary War, gaining independence from the British Crown and establishing the United States of America, the first modern democracy.

Why did the US airlifted supplies into west Germany for over a year because of the Berlin Wall.  Truman ordered a massive airlift of supplies into West Berlin as an effort to avoid WWII. On June 26, 1948, the first planes took off from bases in England and western Germany and landed in West Berlin. For nearly a year, American planes landed around the clock.

The American revolution was the war that the US win its freedom from England. The war broke out because of England’s unfair tax rates and rules, finally after a few years of England outrageous rules the Declaration of Independence was written. Upon presenting the declaration to England they were outraged and the war began. The war had many casualties on both sides but England had it far worse than the US. The English belived taking cover was for cowards, this ended in there defeat in many battles. The war ultimately ended on sept 3 1783 when French allies and US troops surrounded English troopers and general lord Cornwallis. Cornwallis surrendered his sword and the war was over, America had independence. The war lasted from April 19 1775 - sept 3 1783.

The central powers consisted mostly of nazi Germany, Italy, Japan, Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary.
Allied powers consisted of United States, Great Britain, Russia (USSR), France, Poland... pretty much the rest of the world. (This is for WW2 if you want WW1 message me or comment on this). Hope this helped!
