It lived up to its name, it seems like a Grand Staircase fit for a monarch and thats what makes the common man or woman feel all these emotions just by studying Garnier's Architecture. The Romantic Art age was a time to focus on the individual's feelings and perceptions of the World; from the Artist to the audience.
