There's only one plan set to punish Germany after the Great War, also known as World War 1.

This was known as The Treaty of Versailles.

It basically destroyed Germany...reduced its army/navy to nothing. This is why, later, World War 2 would come about.

C. The Treaty of Versailles
This treaty later led to WWll because Germany couldn't pay for all of the reparations and went into a deep depression. Hitler later came along promising to pull Germany out of the depression and so began WWll.

What details about D-Day can you discover from the June 6 entry? What information about the invasion is not included in Montz’s
Fudgin [204]
Based from the diary entry, it would seem as though the Germans were ready for the Americans to attack. They put mines and obstacles in the sea and on land to deter the approaching army. They used a German 88mm gun-- a long-range anti-air craft, anti-tank, anti-personnel gun most feared by the Allies-- to gun down American soldiers.

Despite these diffulties, the American soldiers drew inspiration and strength to continue fighting under the leadership of Gen. Theodore Roosevelt Jr., son of President Theodore Roosevelt, one of the highest-ranking officer on the beach during D-day
