H=1.008 x 122
Answer:
All issues are related to each other.
Explanation:
- Environmental issues like Biodiversity and genetic modification related to the alterations in the genetic makeup of species richness on earth. Biodiversity today faces a challenging situation where the loss of habitats and modification of the environment takes place that leads the species to adapt fast to the next environment. Either by natural selection or genetic drift.
- Deforestation is the complete removal or clearance of forest land by man for construction or development purposes, which leads to the development of desertic conditions over the natural landscape as trees hold the soil by roots from getting blown away.
- Global warming and ozone layer depletion, both causes of man-made anthropogenic wastes and harmful gases that warm and destroy the upper atmosphere and raise the temperature of the world's oceans and water levels.
The matching coastlines of the continents of Alfred Wegener was not seen as serious as it was not a real proof of anything, and it also was very limited.
Explanation:
Alfred Wegener is the person that developed and promoted the continental drift theory. His theory was based around numerous evidence, and while some of those evidence were good indicators on their own, some were not, and they were not good enough on their own.
One of the evidence were the matching coastlines of the continents. This on its own wasn't good enough evidence, as it could have easily been just a coincidence that some coastlines match. Also, this was based on the matching coastlines of only two continents, Africa (its western part) and South America (its eastern part). The other continents didn't seemed to have matching coastlines as these two, which was just another reason for the other scientists to claim that it is a coincidence.
Some of the other evidence that Wegener used for his theory were:
- fossils
- mid-ocean ridge (spreading zones)
- matching rock strata from different continents

The concept that earth present landscape is due to gradual geologic process was proposed by Lyell.
According to the uniformitarian concept, the past can be understood through the present. The science of geology has been greatly impacted by this idea. James Hutton co-created the idea of uniformitarianism with Charles Lyell. He thought that progressive geologic processes over a long period of time generated Earth's landforms, such as the mountains and oceans.
Lyell thought Hutton was right regarding the mechanisms gradually altering that shape the Earth's surface. In looking at rocks and sediments, he discovered his own examples of these processes. The cornerstone of contemporary geology was laid by Lyell and Hutton's combined efforts.
