The setting of this story is the driveway of the farmhouse. We learn this from looking at the first lines of the passage. The setting of a story refers to the place in which the story takes place. This does not only include the physical location of the events of the story, but also the time period in which the story occurs. In this case, the only information we have that can allow us to locate the story is the fact that it takes place in the driveway of a farmhouse.
