Remember, you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides
remember the distributive property: a(b+c)=ab+ac

first, distribute

5(6-4v)=5(6)+5(-4v)=30-20v
so we gots

30-20v=v+21
add 20v to both sides
30+20v-20v=20v+v+21
30+0=21v+21
30=21v+21
minus 21 from both sides
30-21=21v+21-21
9=21v+0
9=21v
divide both sides by 21
\frac{9}{21}=\frac{21v}{21}
\frac{3}{7}=v
v=\frac{3}{7}

5(6 - 4v)=v+21
30 - 20v=v+21
30-21=v+20v
9=21v both side divided by 21
9÷21=v
0,428=v

NEED HELP IMMEDIATELY. I WILL BRAINLIEST. NEED TO SOLVE FOR X INTERCEPT
Kay [80]

Answer:

(1+√7,0),(1−√7,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

You can't factor the expression evenly, so use the quadratic formula.

a = 2

b= -4

c= -12

\frac{-b+\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac } }{2a}

\frac{4+\sqrt{16{}-4(2)(-12)} }{2(2)}

\frac{4+\sqrt{16-4(-24)} }{4}

\frac{4+\sqrt{16+96} }{4}

\frac{4+\sqrt{112} }{4}

\sqrt{112} = 4\sqrt{7}

End result: (1+√7,0),(1−√7,0)

What is the surface area of 120 x 110 x 4
Rina8888 [55]

surface area is the area of all the faces on a shape so to speak.

2(120 x 110)=26,400

2(120 x 4)=960

2(110 x 4)=880

880+960+26,400=28,240

Surface area = 28,240
