The topography of the ocean floor will be changing constantly as the submarine moves from the shore and farther away from it.

Explanation:

The ocean floor has its own specific topography, and it can be roughly predicted. As the continental masses, the ocean floor experiences numerous process, both geological and external ones, and all of them contribute to shaping up its topography. Some of the features that can be encountered are:

  • continental shelf
  • continental slope
  • submarine canyon
  • continental rise
  • guyot
  • mid ocean ridge
  • abyssal plain
  • abyssal hill
  • trench

If a submarine starts to move from the coastline further into the ocean, than it will first encounter the continental shelf. After that will come the continental slope and submarine canyons as the elevation sharply drops. Then come the guyots, and toward the central part of the ocean will be encountered the mid ocean ridge. Just before and after the mid-ocean ridge there will be abyssal plains and abyssal hills. If the submarine continues toward the shore, and if there is a subduction zone, then it will encounter an ocean trench as well.

Describe one way in which a young star is different from a protostar.
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Both early protostars and young stars are formed from a clod of gas which collapses under gravity to form a star. Both types of star are mainly Hydrogen and some Helium. They would be 75% Hydrogen, 25% Helium with traces of Lithium. Young stars formed out of the remains of old stars would still be mainly Hydrogen. Another way to say it is Both types of star are mainly Hydrogen and some Helium. Early protostars would have been formed from the gasses that were created soon after the big bang. They would be 75% Hydrogen, 25% Helium with traces of Lithium. Young stars formed out of the remains of old stars would still be mainly Hydrogen.

3. The Andes in western South America are an example of a landform that arises from the.
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

The Andes in western South America is an example of a landform that arises from the movement of the tectonic plates.

The Andes mountain range is the mountain range that runs along South America's whole Pacific Ocean coast in the west. It is the world's longest continental mountain range, stretching 8500 km.

It was created by the convergence of the South American and Nazca plates towards the end of the Late Cretaceous, at the end of the Mesozoic era. In the relief configuration, seismic movements and consequent volcanic activity have been more significant than external erosive processes.

There are high mountain ranges in the existing morphology, as well as broad high plateaus, deep longitudinal valleys, and vast mountain ranges. Except for in the Argentine-Chilean Andes, transversal valleys are uncommon.
