The correct answer is: False. The Chernobyl explosion caused serious damage to the environment. It was a catastrophic accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 in Ukraine (in that time, the part of the Soviet Union), and it released four hundred times more radioactive material than atomic bombing of Hiroshima. One of the major problems after the explosion was contamination of aquatic system. Namely, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was located next to the Pripyat River, which feeds into the Dnieper reservoir system, which at the time supplied water to Kiev's 2.4 million residents. After the disaster, also, four square kilometers of pine forest turned to reddish-brown and died, and earned the name: "Red Forest"...

KIM [24]

The major causes of World War II were numerous. They include the impact of the Treaty of Versailles following WWI, the worldwide economic depression, failure of appeasement, the rise of militarism in Germany and Japan, and the failure of the League of Nations. ... Then, on September 1, 1939, German troops invaded Poland.

World War II was one of the transformative events of the 20th century, causing the death of 3 percent of the world's population. Deaths in Europe totaled 39 million people — half of them civilians. Six years of ground battles and bombing resulted in widespread destruction of homes and physical capital.

The initiatives set out in the Fair Deal were
Andrei [34K]

President Truman's "Fair Deal" proposed that Congress work on:

- Expanding Social Security

- Increase minimum wage from 40 to 75 cents an hour

- Implementing anti-discrimination policies in employment

- Addressing civil rights issues

- Expanding public housing

- Providing federal aid to education

- Establishing national health insurance

There were more proposals as well, but most of the proposals (including those noted above) did not gain any traction with Congress. Congress did extend Social Security coverage and raise the benefits, and also did raise the minimum wage. But other proposals did not go into effect.

Olegator [25]
I am pretty sure that the following which was the main benefit to the spread of disease in the New World for the colonists is being revealed by the option : “Limited number of Natives available to fight back against the colonists”. I choose this one because that was the point which led Natives to show their weakness and captured by the colonists.
