The debates concerning The Day of Reconciliation are very different, since people have totally diverse opinions about it.

Nevertheless, most people agree that it was a proper and positive change since it allowed all races to celebrate and eventually, be unified as a country.

The Day of Reconciliation is a public holiday in South Africa held annually on 16 December. The holiday came into effect in 1995 following the end of apartheid, aiming to encourage reconciliation and national unity for the country.

jasenka [17]

Answer:

the noble experiment

Explanation: It is no mistake that President Herbert Hoover's 1928 description of Prohibition as "a great social and economic experiment, noble in motive and far-reaching in purpose" entered the popular lexicon as "the noble experiment." In a paragraph, describe the impact of the Pacific Railroad Act and the Homestead Act of 1862 in the West.
ale4655 [162]

The Homestead Act gave a white intrusion of into the previously reserved Indian territory of Oklahoma. Also during The Homestead Act, Indian attacks were rare. Many new settlers gave the Indians food and goods to keep the peace. Yet fraud was common and most of the best land went to railroads and other corporations. By the late 1860's the numbers of buffalo had declined. To which many Great Plains Indian tribes such as Kiowas needed in order to survive. The Union Pacific hired hunters to kill buffalo in order to feed their hungry railroad workers as they built their railway across Indian lands. The Cheyenne, Arapho and Lakota Indians did not like this rail-way going through their land and much less hoarding of buffalo. So they invaded freight cars, de-railed trains and, caused wars with surveying crews. Leaving the Union Pacific behind schedule.
