So considering B is for dominant Blue eye and b is for recessive brown eye;

Now the possible combinations which will ensure a blue eyed person will be BB or Bb but never bb.

So using the square for BB and Bb

       B        B

B      BB     BB

b      Bb     Bb

All the above combinations would make all children have blue eyes BUT 2 children would also have brown eye colour as a recessive allele which could effect the next generation.

I can't be 100% sure because of not reading the actual question but this is my best guess.

Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

C) Messenger RNA is transcribed from a single gene and transfers information from the DNA in the nucleus to the cytoplasm, where protein synthesis takes place.

Explanation:

Gene expression is the process by which information from a gene is used in the synthesis of a functional gene product, usually protein.  Gene expression include steps such as

• transcription – part of DNA is copied into mRNA via an enzyme RNA polymerase

• RNA splicing – formed mRNA during transcription is not mature so it need to be proceed (e.g. excision of introns). Mature mRNA are then exported from nucleus to cytoplasm

• Translation – mRNA serves as information that codes for the synthesis of one or more proteins.

In pigs, curly tails (T) are dominant over straight tails (t). If a pig is heterozygous for a curly tail, what is the pig's geno
n200080 [17]

Answer:

The pig's genotype is Tt

Explanation:

As mentioned in the question that curly hair allele T is dominant over straight tail allele t.

A heterozygous organism is that in which both alleles for a trait are different. Since Curly hair allele T is dominant over straight tail t, it means that the pig with curly tail and heterozygous genotype will definitely have a genotype of Tt.

Hope it helps! :)

Explain how the discoveries by Rosalind Franklin
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

In 1951 Franklin joined the Biophysical Laboratory at King’s College, London, as a research fellow. There she applied X-ray diffraction methods to the study of DNA. When she began her research at King’s College, very little was known about the chemical makeup or structure of DNA. However, she soon discovered the density of DNA and, more importantly, established that the molecule existed in a helical conformation. Her work to make clearer X-ray patterns of DNA molecules laid the foundation for James Watson and Francis Crick to suggest in 1953 that the structure of DNA is a double-helix polymer, a spiral consisting of two DNA strands wound around each other.
