As you get more pieces of string, the string will become smaller. The more you cut it in half the smaller your pieces become

Answer with explanation:

Let the length of string = x unit

⇒When it is cut into half ,

Length of string will be \frac{x}{2}

and when again it is cut into half ,then the length of string will be  \frac{x}{4}

and when it is again cut into half length then length of string will be  \frac{x}{8}.

→And this process continues.

\text{Length of strings}\rightarrow x , \frac{x}{2}, \frac{x}{4}, \frac{x}{8}, \frac{x}{16},........

→If you look at the length of strings , it follows geometric progression having Common ratio equal to  \frac{1}{2} that is second string Length divided by first string length.

→The length of string will be of negligible as the number of pieces rises but it will be not equal to Zero.

⇒If you want to find the length of string after it is cut into n parts of , it will be equal to

     \Rightarrow x \times \frac{1}{2^{n-1}}

There are eight rooms in Fern's home . Two of them are used for her office space. What percentage of the home's rooms is not use
Eddi Din [679]
If there are 2 office rooms, there are 6 rooms that aren't office rooms. So the percentage of non-office rooms can be expressed as:

# of non-office rooms/total rooms

or

6/8

In percentage, this is 75%

Hope this helps!

AlekseyPX

Answer:

0.24 > 0.18

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Bob's stack = 0.2m

Cal's stack = 0.24m

Pete's stack = 0.18m

To find?

A number sentence.

<em>A simple sentence is a string/collection of words that contain a subject and a verb whereas a number sentence is a sentence that consist of </em><em>mathematical operation</em><em> like +, -, /, * together with an equality such as =, <, >, and like a sentence it also tell a fact.</em>

<em> </em>So, the number sentence that compares cal's stack of cards to Pete's stack is

<h2>0.24 > 0.18</h2>
