First since it is a triangle and it says meter square that means its an area
so the area is 1/2hb h stands for height and b stands for base
so
a=1/2bh
a=1/2(12)(9)
a=1/2(108)
a=54m^2

It says the cost of sail is $15 per square meter
so
$15*54
=$810

Why times by 54 because if 1 piece is $15 how about 54pcs?
thats why we will multiply it

kumpel [21]

Step-by-step explanation:

The T-shirt is launched with an initial upward velocity of 60 ft/s from a height of 5 feet. Its equation of motion is given by :

f(x) = -12x^2 + 60x + 5 ....(1)

(a) For maximum height, put \dfrac{df(x)}{dt}=0

So,

\dfrac{ d(-12x^2 + 60x + 5)}{dt}=-24x+60

Now put,

-24x+60=0\\\\x=2.5\ s

So, the time taken for the T-shirt to reach maximum height is 2.5 seconds.

(b) Put x = 2.5 s in equation (1)

f(x=2.5) = -12(2.5)^2 + 60(2.5) + 5\\\\f(x)=80\ \text{feet}

Someone can help??
oee [108]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let  cos^{-1}x=t

cos t=x

when x=1,cos t=1=cos 0

t \rightarrow 0

\lim_{x \to 1} \frac{1-\sqrt{x}}{(cos ^{-1}x)^2 } \\= \lim_{t \to 0} \frac{1-\sqrt{cos~t}}{t^2} \times \frac{1+\sqrt{cos~t}}{1+\sqrt{cos ~t}} \\= \lim_{t \to 0} \frac{1-cos~t}{t^2(1+\sqrt{cos~t})}}  \\= \lim_{t \to 0 }\frac{2 sin^2~\frac{t}{2}}{t^2(1+\sqrt{cos~t})}} \\= 2\lim_{t \to 0 }(\frac{sin~t/2}{\frac{t}{2} })^2 \times \frac{1}{4} \times  \lim_{t \to 0 }\frac{1}{1+\sqrt{cos~t}} \\=\frac{2}4} \times 1^2 \times \frac{1}{1+\sqrt{cos~0}} \\=\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{1}{1+1} \\=\frac{1}{4}
