Answer:

The maximum number of students not participating in a department is 384 students.

Explanation:

This is due to the following calculation:

The total number of students at school T is 800

70% are Men = 560 Men

30% are Women = 240 Women

10% of women do sports = 24 women

Less than 30% of Men do not do sports = 168 Men

So if we subtract from the total number of women the number of women who do sports, we have that 216 Women do not do Sports.

Then we proceed to add the total number of women who do not play sports with the total number of men who do not play sports, that is, 216 Women plus 168 men = 384 students (maximum) who do not play sports.

This value represents 48% of the total number of students of the school T.

The person who pioneered the use of guerilla warfare to defeat the Spanish in South America was Simon Boliviar. Known as "El Libertador" to many in South America, Mr. Boliviar was responsible for helping Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia gain independence from the Spain. It should be noted that guerilla warfare is often employed as a tactic by those who are disadvantaged militarily (out-numbered, inferior weaponry, etc) and the fighting is being conducted on the "home-turf" of the disadvantaged group.

Juan easily taught his cat to jump through a hoop for the reward of food, but could not get his cat to fetch a ball and return t
Aliun [14]

Answer:

Instinctive drift

Explanation:

Instinctive drift is a phenomenon that occurs when an animal reverts back to instinctual behaviour, instead of continuing engaing in learned, or trained behaviour.

In this case, the cat's trained behaviour is being hampered by instinctive drift because while it can easily follow Juan's instructions when jumping a food (aided by the great incentive of getting food), it cannot help chasing the ball more than once, because rolling a ball to catch it is a highly instinctual behaviour that the cat practically cannot control.

Why do we feel hot throughout the year in equatorial region? write in a sentence.
zhuklara [117]

Insolation is maximum at the equator and decreases as we go towards the poles. That is the reason why Equatorial regions are hot. The angle made by Sun rays is almost constant throughout the year near these regions. So the region witnesses a fairly uniform temperature throughout the year.

What main factors lead to the English Civil War?
Alona [7]
Basically, the main factor that lead to the English civil war was King Charles I. He blamed the parliament for the many failures of his father King James I. He often had quarrels with the parliament over money as the parliament had a sufficient amount of money while he did not. He then locked up the parliament members and did not allow them to meet. Eventually he needed the help of the parliament members again as he needed more funds. He tried to arrest the Parliament members again but they were able to escape to London. Meanwhile, Charles was planning to raise an army to fight the parliament to control England. This is what lead to the Civil War
