The amount of cardboard Rajek can fit in the container at one time is 4.5ft^3 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we have , Rajek, a truck driver, hauls containers for his customers. One customer wants to know the total amount of cardboard that can fit in a container at one time. The base of the container has an area of square feet. We need to find The amount of cardboard Rajek can fit in the container at one time . Let's find out:

Volume of container = length(breadth)(width)

⇒ Volume = length(breadth)(width)

But According to question , Area = Length(breadth) = 1ft^2 , So

⇒ Volume = length(breadth)(width)

⇒ Volume = area(width)

⇒ Volume = 1(4\frac{1}{2})

⇒ Volume = 4.5ft^3

Therefore , The amount of cardboard Rajek can fit in the container at one time is 4.5ft^3 .

alexdok [17]

Answer: Eliza wakes up at 6:25 A.M.

Step-by-step explanation:

What I did is first used the 45 minutes to make the time 10:00 P.M. which leaves you with 8 hours and 25 minutes, then i added the 8 hours onto 10:00 P.M. which leaves you at 6:00 A.M. with 25 minutes left, then you add the 25 minutes onto 6:00 A.M. which puts it at 6:25 A.M.

Solve the equation below for the variable "x". *
- 2x + 10 = 8
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

x = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Subtract 10 from 8 to get -2. Then divide -2x by itself so it will cancel out. Whatever you do to one side of the equation, do to the other so divide -2 by -2 to get your answer of 1

Find the lengths of the segments with variable expressions.
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

By the trapezoid midsegment theorem,

2x = (x-6) + (2x-8)

2x = x - 6 + 2x - 8

2x = 3x - 14

x = 14

So we know AD = 8, EF = 14, and BC = 20

If pie-0 =3.14159265359 what is pie time 160=
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

Hey!

To start this problem, we'll most likely need a calculator. Handling \pi can get a little messy, and tricky.

(also note that "pie" is a food, the mathematical term \pi, is pronounced "pie", but spelled "pi.")

Anyway, multiplying 3.14159265359..... (\pi) \cdot 160 = 502.654824574...... going on and on.

In general, these types of problems are better for a calculator if you want an exact answer. Otherwise, just resort to estimation. \pi is pretty close to 3.14.

160 \cdot 3.14 = 502.4, which is decently close to our other answer.

Hope this helps!
