Explanation:

Expression for the coefficient of thermal expansion is as follows.

           \alpha = \frac{1}{V}(\frac{\Delta V}{\Delta T})

where,   V = initial volume

          \Delta V = Final volume - initial volume

                      = (712.6 - 873.6) cm^{3}

                      = -161 cm^{3}

Now, we will calculate the change in temperature as follows.

          \Delta T = Final temperature - Initial temperature

                       = (10 + 273) K - (70 + 273) K

                       = 283 K - 343 K

                       = -60 K

Substituting these values into the equation as follows.

     \alpha = \frac{1}{873.6} \times (\frac{161}{60}) K^{-1}

                 = 0.00307 K^{-1}

It is known that for non-ideal gases the value of alpha is 0.366% which is 0.00366 per Kelvin. As it is close to our result, hence the given sample of gas is a non-ideal gas.

Hydrogen gas can be produced by reacting aluminum with sulfuric acid. How many moles of sulfuric acid are needed to completely r
Illusion [34]

Answer:

22.5

Explanation:

all you have to do is take the number of moles of al and multiply them by sulfuric acids mole ratio as given in the equation (3), then divide by aluminums mole ratio number (2). then you will have moles of sulfuric acid.

*note: this only works if you are going moles to moles, if you are converting to anything else, this will NOT work*

if you have any questions leave them in the comments and i will try to answer them, if this helped, pls give a brainly

Are the activities exothermic or endothermic?
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

The first 5 are exothermic reaction because heat is in product means heat is evolved or given out.

And last no reaction shows that heat is required so last reaction is endothermic reaction.

Explanation:

And heat is evolved in exothermic reaction and heat is absorbed in endo thermic reaction

What does molarity tell us that percent solution information does not tell us?
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

Molarity tell us about the concentration of moles of solute in a solution.

Explanation:

Chemical substances are measured in terms of mole. Mole is defined as the amount of substance which contains 6.022×10²³ particles, ions or atoms. In System of international, amount of substance is measured in moles. So molarity tells us more information about amount of solute in a solution as compared to percent solution.
