eimsori [14]

Answer: Reconstruction

Explanation:

In the "corrupt bargain" of 1877, Democrats allowed Republican Rutherford B. Hayes to become President and in exchange he ended Reconstruction/Federal occupation in the south what allowing Jim Crow to reign supreme there

The presidential election of 1876 was a controversial one in that there were 4 states which had unresolved votes. Democratic candidate, Samuel J. Tilden had won the popular vote and was poised to win the electoral college as well but a deal was struck between Rutherford and the Democrats that he would withdraw Federal troops from the south which was the last thing enforcing Reconstruction in the South.

In return the Democrats voted to accept a decision that would give Rutherford the contented electoral votes and upon being made president, he withdraw the Federal troops which allowed the Southern States to enforce Jim Crow laws.

Will Central America, by adopting trade pacts such as PPP and CAFTA, trade one form of dependency for another?
Nata [24]
It is possible as a result of new free trade agreements that the Central American countries will become more dependent on the United States as a result of the terms of the agreement. However, the Central American countries have decided to engage in this agreement because they feel that the terms of the agreement will help to boost trade and gain greater access to the American market. The trade pact was put into place in 2005 and 2006. It takes careful analysis to determine who the winners and losers of this trade bloc will be, however, the possibility remains for inequitable gains to be made.

How do you think the culture of olmec was able to influence the maya civilization, which did not emerge for several centuries af
Blizzard [7]

Some theory argues that the Olmec civilization, had a dominant influence on the development of the Maya.

The development of the Olmec civilization, given after the period between 1500 and 1200 BC, occurred thanks to the improvement of these agricultural techniques, so they could overcome the hostilities of the environment and sustain large populations. From this development framework, the expansion of the occupied areas and the emergence of urban centers took place gradually.

San Lorenzo city began to decline, the city of La Venta became the most bustling center of Olmec culture. Until the fourth century BC, this city had great importance for such a civilization. After that, perhaps due to the action of great climatic transformations, this region was uninhabited until the definitive extinction of the Olmec people.

How did nationalism-which drove Hungary to demand its own parliamentary self-rule from the Austrian Empire- finally lead to the
viktelen [127]

In the Balkans, Serbia had won autonomy in 1817, and southern Greece won independence in the 1830s. But many Serbs and Greeks still lived in the Balkans under Ottoman rule. The Ottoman empire was home to other national groups, such as Bulgarians and Romanians. During the 1800s, various subject peoples staged revolts against the Ottomans, hoping to set up their own independent states.

Such nationalist stirrings became mixed up with the ambitions of the great European powers. In the mid-1800s, Europeans came to see the Ottoman empire as "the sick man of Europe." Eagerly, they scrambled to divide up Ottoman lands. Russia pushed south toward the Black Sea and Istanbul, which Russians still called Constantinople. Austria-Hungary took control of the provinces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This action angered the Serbs, who also had hoped to expand into that area. Meanwhile, Britain and France set their sights on other Ottoman lands in the Middle East and North Africa.
