Solving problems and sharing skills and experiences with a colleague can take place in activities as simple as asking a colleague to eat lunch with you each day or a few times each week (A). Having lunch with a colleague can really help you to establish a relationship since it creates a relaxed enviroment where you two can share experiences and talk about daily situations.  As you will feel confortable, you are sure to open up a bit more.
