In which of the following cases is productive efficiency not satisfied? Assume we start at a point on the PPF between two produc
DaniilM [7]

Answer:

A. The economy switches to producing less of one product without increasing the production of the other product

Step-by-step explanation:

PPC is the graphical representation of product combinations that an economy can produce, given resources & technology. It is downward sloping because given resources & technology, production of a good can be increased  by decreasing production of other good.

It is based on assumption that resources are efficiently utilised. Points on PPC show resources efficient utilisation, Points under PPC show under utilisation, Points outside PPC are beyond country's productive capacity.

If country produces less of a good without increasing production of other goods, implying wasted resources & production below PPC. This case doesn't satisfy productive efficiency

Other cases : Producing more of a good & less of other is just re allocative movement on the PPC itself. Production point at PPF intersection with either axis implies economy is producing only the good on that axis.

In all the cases except A. satisfy the 'productive efficiency'

Theresa buys 62 stickers. She gives 6 stickers to her little sister. Theresa then splits the remaining stickers evenly across 8
Alja [10]

Answer:

7 stickers on each page.

Step-by-step explanation:

We start with 62 stickers.

Then we give 6 to the little sister, so we subtract 6 from 62.

62-6=56

Then we divide the remaining 56 stickers evenly across 8 pages.

56/8=7

7 stickers on each page.

Given circle and circle with radii of 6cm and 4cm respectively.
noname [10]

Solution :

Given that :

The radius of circle A = 6 cm

The radius of circle C = 4 cm

In circle A

\angle EAF = \theta = 140^\circ

The length of arc EF = $2 \pi r \times \frac{\theta}{360^\circ}$

                                   $=2 \times 3.14 \times 6 \times \frac{140^\circ}{360^\circ}$

                                    = 14.653 cm

In circle C

\angle GCH = \theta = 140^\circ

The length of arc GH = $2 \pi r \times \frac{\theta}{360^\circ}$

                                   $=2 \times 3.14 \times 4 \times \frac{140^\circ}{360^\circ}$

                                    = 9.769 cm

Therefore,

The length of EF is 14.653 cm

The length of GH is 9.769 cm

The length of EF is  1.5 times the length of GH

i.e.                   14.653  = 1.5 x 9.769

                       14.653 = 14.653

Hence proved.

triangle QRS is an equilateral triangle if QR is 7 less than twice X RS is 61 less than 5 times x and QS is 11 more than x find
Katarina [22]

Answer:

QR=RS=QS=29

Step-by-step explanation:

Given QRS is an equilateral triangle, thus all the three sides of the given triangle will be equal.

Also, from the given statement, we have

QR=2x-7, RS=5x-61 and QS=11+X

Now, As all the sides of the triangle are equal, therefore

QR=RS=QS

⇒QR=RS

⇒2x-7=5x-61

⇒-7+61=5x-2x

⇒54=3x

⇒x=18

Thus, the measure of QR=2(18)-7=29,RS=5(18)-61=29 and QS=11+18=29.
