During the Gupta Empire, many great learnings were made in various fields like science & technology, math, literature, philosophy, and others. This was the time when Indian astronomers first got the idea of the earth revolving around the sun, and not vice versa. This is also when many shrines were made and paintings and sculptures were made to decorate them. Many concepts of ayurvedic medicine also came about during this time.
