The union of genuine dance and theatrical methods of stage performance, creating a new, unique dance form

In the early 1900s, ragtime music, which combined European folk songs with West African drum rhythms, found its way onto the theatrical stage. The dance portions of performances began to expand.

Answer:

The theatrical dance is nothing more and nothing less than what we know today as Ballet.

Its origins begin from approximately 1607, when the Spaniards arrived in the lands of South America to conquer them and there they used these methods of theatrical performance that included a harmonious dance and music whose objective was to evangelize the people who were in those land.

These customs were implemented and thus, during the first part of the nineteenth century the same practices began to emerge in a professional manner.

This dance is characterized by being harmonious, and its goal is that the foot is always pointedly pointed to the floor, or with the tips of the toes.

The posture of who dances this dance is also fundamental, it must always be a perfect posture vertically.
