The correct answer is - The king says a quick auction will enable him to take the sisters back to England.

The king and the duke are in disguise and pretending to be relatives of these three sisters who have just lost their father. They urge them to sell their property even though the father died just two days prior because they want to steal their money and run away. However, Huck is very grateful to the three girls and feel sorry for them, so he helps them.

A Metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or a pharse is applied to an object for example " Black sheep of the family" Since there isnt an actual black sheep in the family its just a metaphor

Why is Bernard ignored during Mond's discussion with John and Helmholtz?
UNO [17]

Bernard ignores the conversation because he knows his fate would be sealed even more if he spoke up.

Explanation:

In the conversation between Mond, John and Helmholtz he knows that Mond will have the upper hand and anything that Bernard might say about what he was willing to do against the new society by reading the texts and organizing people who fail even further.

So he stays silent and only  talks up to beg Mond to reduce his sentence for his crime of doing it but his friends had until them pretty much spilled the beans and had engaged in a discussion about the things they were doing.
