Answer:

The prototype model

Explanation:

According to the prototype model, when people evaluate whether a given item reflects a certain concept, they compare the item with the most typical item(s) in that category and look for a "family resemblance" with that item's properties.

The reason why the answer "the prototype model" would be the correct answer because the scenario that was describe best fits what the prototype model is.

When people look at an item, they would compare it to other similar items that are within the market to see if it's any better. People also tend to see a "family resemblance" in the product, meaning that they see if their family could use the product or they've been using the product for some time.

This process is a development for people to see if they would choose an item over a typical item in the market.

Answer:

The answer is to seek optimum levels of arousal.

Explanation:

There is a theory that states that the principal reason that motivates people to make an action is to keep an optimal level of physiological arousal. This optimal level of arousal is different according to the person, as well as it is a very important aspect related to attention and information process.

Thus, maintain the optimal level of arousal is very important concerning the performance that a person can have in a specific task. Research has demonstrated that the psychological factor that is in charge of arousal of motivation is also related to the performance.

What was the argument in the Dred Scott case
Kamila [148]

Dred Scott Vs. Stanford case was heard in Supreme court of US which issued its final ruling saying that Africans whether free or slaves were not the citizens of US.

Explanation:

Dred Scott who is a plaintiff and a slave was bought by John Emerson in Missouri. Later Emerson came along with Dred Scott to Illinois where Scott married and as they were returning to Missouri, Emerson died. Now Dred Scott decided to sue for his freedom in the federal court. He claimed he was free as he lived in the free state.

Robert Taney who was the chief justice issued the land mark decision that African american though free or slave were not the citizen of US and hence Dred Scott had no right to sue in the federal court. Dred Scott lost his case and this ruling was condemned universally as one of the racism based verdicts which paved way for the amendments of the statutes pertaining to the rights of African Americans.

BabaBlast [244]

The doctors are unaware of how a certain treatment can affect elderly patients.

How does an age-related exclusion affect research results?

Elderly participants are frequently left out of clinical trials. As a result, doctors are very unaware of how a certain treatment can affect their elderly patients.

There is widespread opposition to conducting studies in those groups that we refer to as "sensitive populations," including children, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with cognitive impairment. We frequently play it safe and exclude certain people from trials because of the possibility of doing more harm than benefit in these patient groups.

Suggestions to include elders in trials:

 • When enrolling elderly subjects, reconsider age restrictions and steer clear of an all-or-nothing mindset. Instead, take into account subject-by-subject eligibility assessment, which will still permit the exclusion of patients assessed to be too frail, dangerous, or problematic for the experiment.
 • Make an effort to find elder participants. A concerted effort is required to reverse these trends because there aren't enough elderly people in our studies as a result of years of both passively and intentionally omitting them. The goal of clinical research education for older persons should extend beyond participant recruiting for a specific trial.
 • Recognize successful strategies for enlisting minority people. Understanding your patient population's needs and removing barriers to their participation will help you improve trial diversity.
