a(1)=10 a(2)=20 a(3)=40

Lets look at available choices:
1) a(n)=10(2)^n
a(1)=10*2=20 wrong as a(1) should be 10
2) a(n)=10*2^{n-1} is the right choice because if you put 1 as n in the first case you will get:
a(1)=10*2^{1-1}=10*2^{0}=10*1
3) a(n)=10+2n
a(1)=10+2=12 wrong as a(1) should be 10
4) a(n)=10+2(n-1)
a(1)=10 right but...
a(2)=10+2=12 wrong as a(2) should be 20

3) and 4) can be dismissed, at once, because the is addition sign between them, and consecutive numbers should be multiplied.

In short 2) is the right answer

Tema [17]

Answer:

option A

12m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the question,

mass of object = 11kg

kinetic energy possess by = 792 joules

To find the velocity we use formula

v =  \sqrt{\frac{2KE}{m} }

Plug values in the formula

v = \sqrt{\frac{2(792)}{(11)} }

v = \sqrt{\frac{1584}{11} }

v = \sqrt{144}

v= 12 m/s

Devon is trying to find the unit price on a 6
Inessa [10]
No, she's not. If each energy drink's unit cost was just over $2.00, and there are 6 drinks in a pack, then that's at least $12.00 right there, but the entire 6-pack is on sale for only $2.99. She should find the correct price by dividing $2.99/6, resulting in about $0.50 per drink

bixtya [17]

Answer:

<em>x=60°</em>

<em>x=48°</em>

<em>x=21°</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Inequalities</u>

The sum of the exterior and the interior angle of a triangle is 180°.

The measure of an exterior angle of a triangle is called x, thus the interior angle is 180-x.

This angle is said to be at least twice x, thus:

180 - x ≥ 2x

Adding x:

180 ≥ 3x

Dividing by 3:

60 ≥ x

Swapping the inequality:

x ≤ 60°

The measure of x must be less or equal to 60°.

Three possible solutions are:

x=60°

x=48°

x=21°
