podryga [215]
Trophic level: the feeding level of an organism in a food web or chain. Food web: a diagram showing a series of interconnected food chains and the flow of energy through an ecosystem. Food chain: a diagram showing the flow of energy from one trophic level to the next. E.g. Consumer or decomposed Consumer: an organism which feeds on other organisms to obtain its nutritional requirements (part of a food web/chain). Producer: an organism capable of trapping the suns energy and converting it to sugar in the process of photosynthesis. Therefore the term food web is the term used to include all of the above.

dezoksy [38]

Answer:

two, phospholipids, non polar, tails, polar, heads.

Explanation:

This is just basically illustrating one of the components of the lipid bilayer memebrane. The membrane is made up of two lipid layers with the polar head groups facing either the cytosol or the outer surroundings while the non polar tails facing each other. Such that this bilayer act as a barrier between the cytosol of the cell/organelle eg endoplasmic reticulum and the outer surroundings.

How can bacteriophage dna be spread from cell to cell without causing cell death?
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

through lysogenic cycle

Explanation:

The bacteriophage attaches itself on the bacterial surface. The DNA strand to be replicated is injected into the bacteria by the bacteriophage. The DNA integrates into the bacterial chromosome and  becomes a pro-phage.

The bacterial cell proceeds to cell division  through budding. The progeny possess the bacteriophage. After complete replication, the virus DNA  detaches from the host genome and enters the lytic cycle. The capsid heads assemble on the surface of bacterial cell to package the fully matured viral DNA . The phage produces lytic enzymes that weaken the cell wall of bacteria cell.
