When the oil pressure light illuminates, pull over onto __________ and turn off your engine.
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Level ground

Explanation:

When you are driving and the oil pressure light illuminates, it usually means that your car might have lost oil pressure.

Therefore, you should first pull over onto level ground (since <u>being on incline ground may not let you take an accurate measure of the oil levels</u>) and turn off your engine. Then you should wait for a few minutes on level ground and see if the oil pressure light is still on and the oil is still low, if it is, you should call a mechanic or a tow since driving with a low oil pressure can damage your engine.

Filip, a mentally competent 70-year-old, fills out a document stating that if he is terminally ill and mentally incapacitated, h
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

Living will.

Explanation:

<u>A living will is a legal document that contains the end-of-care wish of the patient who is suffering from a mental disability</u>. In this will, the person expresses and spells out his/ her wishes about her care if or whenever incapacitated.

Filip's act of filing the document that states his wish of not to be administered with <em>"heroic cure-oriented treatments" </em>if his condition deteriorates or he becomes <em>"terminally ill and mentally incapacitated"</em> reveals he has done his living will. This allows mentally ill patients to have a say about their fate and the treatment they want whenever or if they ever need it in the future.

Why does certified organic food tend to come from megafarms and other large, corporate food producers, rather than small-scale o
Lina20 [59]

Answer: Small-scale farmers usually have a harder time affording and maintaining USDA certification

Explanation: The USDA(United States Department of Agriculture) organic certification is the certification process for producers of organic food and other agricultural products. The USDA regulates all organic agricultural products certified to their standards and verifies that farms or handling facilities comply with the organic regulations. This allows producers to label, present their products and sell them as organic.

The cost of certification itself is little(between $200-$1500) depending on the size of the farm but the required recordkeeping can be unmanageable for a small-scale farm. Although farmers are only inspected by the USDA once a year, but they are required to keep daily records of everything, from how often they irrigate to total hours spent weeding. Farmers with diverse crops find it extremely difficult to keep up and most small farms just don't think it's worth the trouble.

The small-scale farmers are finding alternative methods to assure their clientele that their products are pristine.
