The Qur'an is very important for Muslims and almost become a part of their life on day to day basis. A short skim over the Qur'an and the Prophet's sayings about the greatness of the Qur'an will make clear that why the Qur'an is so important.

The Qur'an is important because it is light and guidance. And if a Muslim recites some verses he or she illuminates his or her house and he or she does not count among the headless.

The Qur'an is important because it is the best healing for our psychological, spiritual and even physical illness.

The Qur'an is important because the recitation of the Qur'an polishes the rusts which cover our hearts. Indeed, when one commits a sin one's heart covers with rust or a black spot appears in one's heart, so there are different ways to clear it or polish it. The recitation of the Qur'an among remembrance of God and repenting from sins that one has committed are different ways to polish one's heart.

The Qur'an is important because it makes Satan and Devil go away and keep the distance from us.

The Qur'an is important because the house in which the Qur'an is being recited will receive numerous divine blessings (Barakah), and the Angels will be present.

The Qur'an is important because Muslims have been advised to seek refuge to it when they surrounded by hardships and calamities from everywhere.
