What we know:

She started with 10$ and +5$ a week

t, is the saved in w, weeks

Answer:

t =10 + 5w

As for the graph i cant do but just switch the w,  with an 8 like so

t=10 +5(8)

then turn that to a graph

Sorry, That's the most i can do,

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay so, Anna starts with $10, right? So this means the y-intercept is $10 and we can start with

y = mx +10

Then it says she gets $5 a week which is the m in the equation so you get

y = 5x +10

The x will stand for the number of weeks.

The independent variable is the number of weeks because it is affected by nothing.

The dependent variable is the amount of money she receives weekly because it is being measured against the x variable.

Sorry, I cannot graph this for you, but remember that the slope is 5 and you graph rise over run

I hope I helped and good luck with homework!

2. In two tosses of a fair die, what is the probability that:
zaharov [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The outcomes table is shown in the attached diagram. From the table, the total number of outcomes is 36.

i) the number of outcomes whose sum is 7 are 6 (1,6 2,5 3,4 4,3 5,2 6,1)

The probability that the sum of the two numbers that show up is 7 is

6/36 = 1/6

ii) the number of outcomes whose sum is even are 18

The probability that the sum of the two numbers that show up is even is

18/36 = 1/2

ii) the number of outcomes whose sum is greater than 9 is 6(4,6 5,5 6,4 5,6 6,5 6,6)

The probability that the sum of the two numbers that show up is greater than 9 is

6/36 = 1/6

3) this is a poisson distribution. We want to determine the mean.

Mean = np

p = 5/200 = 0.025

n = 600

Therefore,

Mean = 0.025 × 600 = 15 eggs

15 eggs are expected to be broken from a crate containing 600 eggs
