Answer:

Option 3 - f(x)=x^2-10x+21

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : Which function has real zeros at x = 3 and x = 7?

Solution :

We have given the roots of the function i.e at x=3 and x=7

So, The factor form is (x-3) and (x-7).

<h3>Multiply both the roots to find the function,</h3>

f(x)=(x-3)(x-7)

f(x)=x^2-7x-3x+21

f(x)=x^2-10x+21

Therefore, The required function is f(x)=x^2-10x+21

So, option 3 is correct.

If it has real zeros at x=3 and 7, the factors of f(x) are:

(x-3)(x-7) so f(x) is

f(x)=x^2-10x+21

If sin(xy)=x^2, then dy/dx =
kumpel [21]
Hello,

f(x,y)=sin(xy)-x^2\\&#10;&#10; \dfrac{\partial f}{\partial x} =cos(xy)*y-2x\\&#10; \dfrac{\partial f}{\partial y} =cos(xy)*x\\&#10;&#10; \dfrac{dy}{dx} =-\dfrac{\dfrac{\partial f}{\partial x}}{\dfrac{\partial f}{\partial y}}\\&#10;&#10;=- \dfrac{cos(xy)*y-2x}{cos(xy)*x}\\\\&#10;&#10;=- \dfrac{y}{x}+ \dfrac{2}{cos(xy)} \\&#10;&#10;&#10;

How do you divide decimals? Ex: 3.6÷0.5 plz help!!
KiRa [710]

here's the way that i learned it:

convert them to mixed fractions and then go from there.

3.6 = 36/10 0.5 = 1/2

right now our problem looks like this: 36/10 ÷ 1/2 =

okay, so i learned the method keep it, switch it, flip it.

keep the first fraction in the equation, 36/10

switch the division sign to multiplication ÷ ⇒ ×

switch the numbers on the second fraction  1/2 ⇒ 2/1

okay, so our equation looks like this now:

36/10 x 2/1

okay, so now multiply across. (multiply the top numbers together and the bottom numbers together)

72/10

latly, we need to convert back to a decimal. divide the top number by the bottom one.

to do this, divide the top number by the bottom number

72/10

7.2

<em>i hope this was helpful. this is how i learned dividing with decimals, so it might be kinda complicated. if you still need help, let me know :)</em>

What is the equation of the line that passes through the point 4,4 and has a slope of 0?
Xelga [282]

Answer:

y = 0x + 4 or y = 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope is zero, and in other words, m = 0.

The slope intercept form is y = mx + b.

Replace m with 0.

y = 0m + b.

The y intercept is the y point on the line. Since this slope is a straight horizontal line, the y point given is the y intercept. b is the y intercept.

y = 0m + 4

Since any number times 0 is 0 you can right it as

y = 4.
