When two secants intersects outside a circle then the measure of the angle formed is half of the positive difference of the measures of the intercepted arcs. (Please refer the diagram I have attached)

Hence the measure of ∠1 is :

∠1= $\frac{1}{2}(100-30)$

∠1= $\frac{1}{2}*70=35$
