I believe what you're looking for is the expanded form, which would be x^2+10x. It does look like you're missing a part to the second () however.

When an exponential expression is raised to another exponent the exponent is______
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

When raising a power to a power in an exponential expression, you find the new power by multiplying the two powers together. For example, in the following expression, x to the power of 3 is being raised to the power of 6, and so you would multiply 3 and 6 to find the new power.

Divide 28 cans of soda into two groups so the ratio is 3 to 4.
shtirl [24]
28 cans of soda into 2 groups in which the ratio is 3:4

3 x 4 = 12
4 x 4 = 16
12 + 16 = 28

you will put 12 cans in one group and 16 cans in another group

hope this helps

on a piece of paper, graph f(x) = 2 • (3)^x. then determine which answer choice matches the graph you drew
Alona [7]

I would make a table and plug in values for "x" in the equation to find f(x) or y

x = 0

f(x)=2*(3)^x

f(0)=2*(3)^0(there is a rule that when the exponent is 0, the result is 1)

f(0)=2*1

f(0) = 2                   (0,2)

x = 1

f(x)=2*(3)^x

f(1)=2*(3)^1

f(1)=2*3

f(1) = 6        (1,6)

You could do more points.

But these two points shows that the y-intercept (the y value when x = 0 or (0,y)) is 2, and that the graph is increasing.

Your answer is B

According to a survey on us population, the probability that a man will live seventy-five years is 0.62 and that he will live up
Vsevolod [243]
The answer is 3.71%

Given: .62 probability of reaching 75 years old and 0.023 probability of reaching 85 years old
   Since Mr. Clooney already reached 75 years old, we'll divide the probability of reaching 85 by the probability of reaching 75.
   .023 / .62 = .0370967742 x 100 = 3.71%

Why? Assume there are 1000 men who were born at the same time.
0.62 * 1000 = 620 of them will make it to 75.
0.023 * 1000 = 23 of them will make it to 85.
The proportion of those who will make it to 85 assuming that they already made it to 75 will be 23 / 620 = 0.0370967742 (same as above)
