Answer:

Mary covers a lesser distance with 1120m

Step-by-step explanation:

For Anna: perimeter = 4L

L = 90m

Perimeter = 90×4

= 360m

Work for times round, the total distance will be = 4 × 360

= 1440m

For Mary: Perimeter = 2L + 2b

L = 80m, b = 60m

Perimeter = 2(80) + 2(60)

= 160 + 120

= 280m

For four times = 4 × 280

= 1120m

: Mary covers a lesser distance

Answer: Mary covers less distance for  320 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Psqere=4a

Prect=2(a+b)

anna=4*4a (a=90m)

Anna=16*90=1440m

Mary=4*2(a+b)=8(a+b)=8*(80+60)=8*140=1120 m

anna-Mary=1440-1120=320m

What is a product of power?
Kryger [21]

Answer:

To find a power of a product, find the power of each factor and then multiply. In general, (ab)m=am⋅bm. am⋅bm=(ab)m. In other words, you can keep the exponent the same and multiply the bases.

Step-by-step explanation:

We use the power of a product rule when there are more than one variables being multiplied together and raised to a power. The power of a product rule tells us that we can simplify a power of a power by multiplying the exponents and keeping the same base.

PLEASE HELP ME CAN YOU PLEASE TELL Me WHAT RATIO MEANES IN 3 WAYS!!!! PLS NOT FROM WIKAPIDIA PLS
Anna35 [415]
Ratio means only one thing but I think what you meant was 3 examples of a ratio. In that case three examples would be: 2:3, 2 to 3, 2/3

(I've been trying to figure this out for 3 days and I really need help)
liq [111]

Check the picture below.

since the diameter of the cone is 6", then its radius is half that or 3", so getting the volume of only the cone, not the top.

1)

\bf \textit{volume of a cone}\\\\ V=\cfrac{\pi r^2 h}{3}~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\ h=height\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ r=3\\ h=4 \end{cases}\implies V=\cfrac{\pi (3)^2(4)}{3}\implies V=12\pi \implies V\approx 37.7

2)

now, the top of it, as you notice in the picture, is a semicircle, whose radius is the same as the cone's, 3.

\bf \textit{volume of a sphere}\\\\ V=\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ r=3 \end{cases}\implies V=\cfrac{4\pi (3)^3}{3}\implies V=36\pi \\\\\\ \stackrel{\textit{half of that for a semisphere}}{V=18\pi }\implies V\approx 56.55

3)

well, you'll be serving the cone and top combined, 12π + 18π = 30π or about 94.25 in³.

4)

pretty much the same thing, we get the volume of the cone and its top, add them up.

\bf \stackrel{\textit{cone's volume}}{\cfrac{\pi (3)^2(8)}{3}}~~~~+~~~~\stackrel{\stackrel{\textit{half a sphere}}{\textit{top's volume}}}{\cfrac{4\pi 3^3}{3}\div 2}\implies 24\pi +18\pi \implies 42\pi ~~\approx~~131.95~in^
