1200= 80%
?       =100%

to find the ?  you can multiply 100(1200)=120000
then 120000 divided by 80= 1500
 the original price was 1500, with the discount of  20%   you save 300$   and the price is 1200$

Mandy got a $240 discount.
If you set up the equation it will be \frac{x}{1200}= \frac{20}{100}
Now to find out what x equals you have to cross multiply. So x times 100 equals 100x. And 1200 times 20 equals 24000. 100x=24000
Divide both sides by 100 and you get x=240. So 240 is your discount.

Answer:

29.12%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

A = 49

B = 50

C = 38

D = 60

E = 75

Total = (49 + 50 + 38 + 60 + 75) = 272

Pie chart % for each :

A = (49 / 272) * 360 = 64.85

B = (50 / 272) * 360 = 66.18

C = (38 / 272) * 360 = 50.29

D = (60 / 272) * 360 = 79.41

E = (75 / 272) * 360 = 99.26

Difference between C and D

(79.41 - 50.29) = 29.12%
