Answer:

The information that Brenda will communicate to her parents, during dinner, about what she has learned of cell differentiation, will be: She correctly tells them that once cells differentiatie, they cannot differentiate anymore and that they will migrate to the places where the functions they specialized for will be carried out.

Explanation:

Cell differentiation is a biological process by which organism cells mature and acquire characteristics that make them specialize for a particular task. Originally, especially in human development, embryos, and later fetuses´s bodies are packed with cells that are un-differentiated. This means that they have not yet completed their maturation process and thus have the potential to become any specialized type of cell they want. However, given the proper signals, the process of differentiation, which basically means the process of maturation of unspecified cells, takes place, and these cells acquire qualities that primes them to belong to specific tissues and perform specific tasks. Once a primary cell has differentiated, it cannot further specialize. Differentiation has been completed.

What is a "lottery"? how does the title lead you expect something very different from what the story represents?
Luba_88 [7]
When you hear about a lottery, you think about the chance to win something good (like money, trips, etc). In the story, the lottery ends up being something you definitely would not want to win. The less chance you have to “win”, the better.
