Rectangle- multiply it’s height by width
Square- you need to find the length of one of the sides and then multiply this by itself to find the area.

Answer:

Yes it is same . In rectangle the area is length × breadth but in sqiare as the length and breadth are equal , the area becomes side × side = side²

The graph below represents the function of f(x), and the table below represents the function g(x). which statement is true?
Igoryamba

Answer: OPTION D.

Step-by-step explanation:

You can observe in the graph that represents f(x)  that this function intersects the x-axis at the point (1,0). Then:

x=1\\y=0

We know that a function intersects the x-axis when y=0.

We can observe the table that represents the function g(x). When the value of "y" is 0 (g(x)=y=0), the value of "x" is -1 (x=-1). Therefore, the x-intercept of f(x) is greater that the x-intercept of g(x).

You can observe in the graph that represents f(x)  that this function intersects the y-axis at the point (0,-1). Then:

x=0\\y=-1

We know that a function intersects the y-axis when x=0. In the table that represents the function g(x), we can see that, when the value of "x" is 0 (x=0), the value of "y" is 1 (g(x)=y=1). Therefore, the y-intercept of g(x) is greater that the y-intercept of f(x).
