What is odd about the bridge at Avignon and a song that was sung about it traditionally? A. The song was sung only at midnight o
Mariulka [41]

Bonjour

CORRECT ANSWER IS C

This is an old song from the 15e century.

The song says "on which one dances" but originally people were dancing on the banks of the river. So that's why the elders sometimes know this song as "sous le pont d'Avignon" (<em>beneath the Avignon Bridge) </em> instead of "sur" <em>on the bridge.</em>

hope this helps :)
