Answer: The right answer is the A) Life is an eternal struggle.

Explanation: Just to elaborate a little on the answer, it can be added that in these two lines the poet is describing life as a broad field of battle and as a bivouac, or temporary encampment, and this suggests struggle, difficulty, and discomfort. That imagery does not suggest that life is not worth living or that life is mostly unhappy and painful, however. Likewise, it does not mean that life is rarely problematic, but quite the opposite. Comparing life to a battlefield and to a precarious encampment suggests that it is indeed a constant struggle.

Evaluate the argument in this political cartoon. Is the message clear? Why or why not?
hjlf
Yes, it i clear because it is giving you visual queues telling you that global warming is fake. Such as the planet with snow, and the snow around the car with the quote on it "warm globally, freeze locally".

Read the excerpt from The Fellowship of the Ring.
stiv31 [10]

Answer: C. The hobbits live together near a great field.

The correct option would be C. Option A assumes that the ropes and poles are there because of a birthday party, but the passage makes no mention of the cause. Option B similarly assumes that Bilbo is the cause of this commotion, which the passage similarly does not state. Option D claims Gaffer Gamgee to be lazy, even though the passage claims he was distracted, and not necessarily lazy. Option C, however, states that the hobbits live together near a field, which is information that is included in the passage.
